St. Mark’s Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church
Youngstown, Ohio
“The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.” Acts 11:26
Welcome to St. Mark's Orthodox Christian Church, we are glad you found us. We are nestled into the winding streets of Liberty, Ohio, and welcome residents and passersby of the Mahoning Valley.
If you found your way here with questions about the first Christian church or you are searching for a Church that lives the Bible and has kept true to its teachings, you’ve come to the right place.
The Orthodox Christian Church is the most ancient Christian church, tracing our roots back to the Apostles. As it says in Acts 11:26, “The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch”. We are under the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America.
In today’s world, it can be hard to know which church you step into will stay true to the teachings of Christ and His Word. When you step into a Orthodox Christian Church, you will hear the scriptures in every moment of our services and experience a form of worship only seen in the Ancient Church. It is truly Heaven on Earth!
We worship in English and believe in the One Holy Trinity according to unbroken Holy Tradition, expressed in Holy Scripture. We would love to meet and welcome you to our community.
Orthodox Christian Sunday School
In the Orthodox Christian church, we keep our children with us through the services. Noise and movement are never a problem. Christ said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3
In Sunday school this year we are going through the book of Genesis. We are overjoyed to have a newly remodeled Sunday School room that is clean, warm, and inviting for the whole community.
We have three classes for children ages 2-18.
- preschool/1st grade
- 2nd- 6th grade
-7th - 12th grade
Located on the North East side of Youngstown, OH. Just 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from the I-80 freeway.
3560 Logan Way, Youngstown Ohio 44505
We are the body of Christ, working towards the Kingdom of Heaven through worship, fellowship, & service.

We are all in communion with one another. We simply have different traditions and heritage that lend to a slight difference in serving style and musical arrangements.
